An immersive weekend of ‘sacred training - inner/outer strength cultivation’ designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners. Deepen your understanding of Vira Rasa, Prana Flow sequencing, Prana Danda Yoga, and solar activation, or join for individual open sessions rooted in transformation and sustainable vitality.
Vira Prana Flow is the natural invocation of the rising energy of nature, which can be felt at any time when change is being ignited as a force of growth, evolution, and vital energy. Derived from the root meaning of the word vira as “hero,” vira is the embodied state of inner and outer strength, potency, courage, and verve. Vira Rasa is related to the yogic process of tapas — unwavering commitment and dedication. It is the activation of solar energy to cultivate the juice of your life (ojas), not, as Ayurveda cautions, to burn ojas up.
Vira Rasa stokes the fires to help us overcome any obstacle, challenge, or regressive habit by encouraging the embodiment of courage, stamina, and steadiness within our daily lives. Our vital energy is a sacred fire that we can tend through daily sadhana practice. Join Shiva and our local community as we explore Vira Rasa as potency and heroic transformation through an immersive weekend designed to activate, transform, and balance your being in the spring season.
*This weekend counts as elective hours for our 300 hour teacher training program, as well as yoga alliance continuing education.
